Bloom Where Your Planted Flower Farm
Bloom where you are planted. Fresh cut flowers, grown on Callaghan Road in Emyvale, Prince Edward Island.
The flower stand is open Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 7 pm. Closed Sunday.
Grown At Home, In Emyvale
We are a small, homegrown cut flower farm, growing a mix of annuals, perennials, and woody shrubs. Every variety is chosen with two questions in mind: does it grow well here, and does it last in a bouquet?
Some flowers are grown specifically for cutting. Others are grown simply because I love watching them bloom, and because of the beauty they bring to the farm. That mix is what makes every bouquet a little different, and completely of the season.
What The Garden Offers

Meet The Grower
Monique Mowat started this farm in January 2026, at 50, on land she already called home. A friend told her that if she didn't do it now, she never would. So she ordered the seeds, prepared the ground, and began.
The name says the rest. You don't have to wait for the perfect time, or go somewhere else to begin.
A photo of Monique in the flower rows is coming soon.
What Is Blooming Now
The field changes week to week, and that is half the fun of a flower farm. Here is roughly how the season unfolds. Exact timing shifts with the weather every year, and Instagram has the latest from the rows.
Early Summer
Late June To Mid July
- Yarrow in whites and pale pinks
- The first perennials
- Fresh foliage and fillers
Midsummer
Mid July To Late August
- Cosmos and zinnias
- Echinacea and rudbeckia
- The first sunflowers
Late Summer Into Fall
September To First Frost
- Dahlias and sunflowers
- Seed heads and grasses
- Rich autumn textures
Before You Come
How to turn up, what the ground is like, and what to expect from the bees.
Do I need to book before I visit?
No. The flower stand is a roadside stand, open Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 7 pm, and you can simply drop in. U-Pick is different: it opens in summer 2027, and its hours will be Wednesday to Saturday, 9 am to 8 pm, from mid July.
What is the ground like?
This is a working farm. The paths between the rows are grass and the rows themselves are dirt, so expect uneven ground underfoot. Sturdy shoes are a good idea, and after a rain it can be soft in spots.
Will there be bees?
Yes, and they are part of why the flowers do so well. The bees here are busy with the blooms and not much interested in people. If you are allergic, come prepared and mention it when you arrive.
Can I bring my dog?
A well-behaved dog on a leash is fine at the stand and along the grass paths. Please keep dogs out of the flower rows themselves.
How do I order a bucket?
Call 902-394-5321, email cutflowerfarmbloom@gmail.com, send a message on Instagram, or use the contact form. We will confirm what is blooming and when your bucket will be ready for pickup.
Where exactly is the farm?
560 Callaghan Road in Emyvale, Prince Edward Island. Look for the red barn and the flower rows. There is room to pull in and park.
From a simple bouquet to flowers for a special celebration, my hope is that each bunch brings a little bit of the beauty and happiness of the garden into your home.Monique Mowat, Bloom Where Your Planted Flower Farm
